FAQ
Q: How do I put in a commission request?
A: Follow the "contact" link in the navigation bar to be taken to a new page. The email link there will open a new tab where you can fill out an email form to enter your request into!
Q: How much do commissions cost?
A: That will depend on what you're asking for. If you follow the "pricing" link in the navigation bar you'll be taken to my price sheet to get an idea of the final cost. If you're interested in something not covered by the sheet, bring it up in your request email!
Q: I need to cancel my commission. Can I get a refund?
A: That will depend on how much progress I've made on the piece at time of cancellation. Complete refunds can be expected in the event I haven't started or done much work, if it's further along you can expect a partial refund. Pieces that have been completed, or are 99% of the way done, will not be refunded.
Q: I need my commission done by a set date. Will this cost extra?
A: Again, this is entirely dependant on when you need the finished piece and how complicated the piece is. Tight deadlines may incur rush fees that will vary depending on workload and urgency.
Q: Your price sheet says that props cost extra. Does that charge apply to my/the subject's cane, wheelchair, walker, etc?
A: No! I do not consider mobility/other disability aids "props" as they are, in fact, necessities. They will be included at no extra charge.
Q: My request includes adult content or other sensitive material. Am I allowed to ask for that?
A: Yes! Just ask first in your initial request email. Depending on what's being portrayed I may reject your request, both for my mental health and to assure that you're getting a quality piece. No judgments at all. The only hard restriction I have is that both the client and the subject/s of the piece must be 18 years of age or older.
